Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm - 8:00pm

Summary of Accountabilities
This intern position will assist in learning fabrication and installation of avionic and cabin electrical system wiring and components.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Interns will learn to tag, crimp, and build wiring harnesses
- Properly identify (tag) and store customer property and equipment
- Use wire-stamping machines to apply numbers to wires
- Read and understand wiring diagrams
- Help build wire harnesses on the bench
- Help install wire harnesses in aircraft. Route and terminate wires. Tie-wrap, protect and clamp wire bundles
- Wire subassemblies (entertainment, annunciator assemblies, lavatory, fuel control panels, etc.)
- Become familiar with technical reference materials. Learn how to find information
- Help perform cleaning and routine wiring checks
- Work in accordance with established safety practices including proper use of personal protective equipment; maintain a neat and orderly work area
- Any other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- Requires high school education and individual must be working towards their Avionics Certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Provide own hand tools
- Interact with customer in a professional manner
- Collaborates and easily gets along in team-based environments
- Current Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Airport Security Badge through the local airport authority
- No restrictions on kneeling, climbing, stooping, crawling, stretching and bending
- Must be reliable, on time and work required schedule without deviations
- Possess the ability to retain information
- Basic computer skills
Communication Skills
Must be able to read and speak English. Must be able to communicate effectively with other personnel.
