Summary of Accountabilities

Perform aircraft maintenance per manufacturer’s requirements in accordance with applicable federal regulations and company policy and procedures.

$2,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  1.  Assemble, install and repair parts using hand tools and power tools for all aircraft.
  2. Troubleshoot and identify maintenance issues through to resolution.
  3. Perform scheduled & unscheduled inspections and maintenance on a variety of aircraft from light single engine to heavy business jets.
  4. Perform tests and record test results.
  5. Keep detailed and accurate records. Communicate regularly with lead technician as to the specific needs of each aircraft.
  6. Order parts for aircraft as needed. Ensure quality of parts upon arrival and coordinate assembly and installation.
  7. Maintain shop in a neat orderly condition.
  8. Perform general facility projects as required.
  9. Occasional domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma required.
  • A and/or P license require
  • Valid US driver’s license in good standing

Physical Requirements

May be exposed to extremes in temperature, hazardous or moving equipment, loud noises, and crowded environments, continually.  Must be able to speak and listen clearly.  Fine visual acuity to read for accuracy. This job may require lifting of up to 75 pounds frequently.

Additional Requirements or Skills

  • Minimum 2 years aviation maintenance experience required.
  • Knowledge of general office equipment required.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision after training.
  • Possess a high attention to detail.
  • Must have solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and operate in a fluid environment.
  • Must be a task-orientated team player with initiative.
  • Ability to use computer, software programs and maintenance forms associated with Repair Station functions.
  • Ability to collaborate with manager.
