Wichita, KS—January 11, 2007—Yingling Aviation of Wichita, Kansas, the world’s largest Cessna Aircraft parts supplier, has expanded its spare parts services by launching CessnaDirect.com, an on-line parts ordering capability.  It can be easily accessed on the Internet or by going to Yingling’s website, selecting the PARTS tab and clicking on Purchase Parts.

The new service provides customers with the ability to make inquiries, check availability, order parts and  pay for them on a 24-hour-a-day, 7-days per week, 365 days per year basis.  “With the high volume of orders and inquiries we receive, this new on-line parts service will enhance our ability to respond expediently to inquiries and process orders in a timely way,” noted Lynn Nichols, Yingling’s president.  “It will also make our entire parts operation more efficient by providing customers with live, up-to-date information on the status of orders and parts inventories.  CessnaDirect.com receives daily reports on parts availability from the factory, as well,” he added.

“Adding this capability means that the fastest Cessna parts supplier in the world just got faster,” added Bobby Thompson, Yingling’s Parts Manager.  “It will allow us to process more orders, more quickly.  It’s already proving to be especially helpful in responding to international customers.”

Yingling previously provided parts information and e-mail address or telephone contact number.  Customers could utilize them to make inquiries about parts and wait for an e-mail response.  Payment on-line was not available.  “Now, in less time than it used to take a customer to initiate an inquiry, he can check on the availability of a part, order and pay for it and we can process it and send it on its way,” Thompson concluded.
